Do you remember this picture?



How many attempts do you think it takes to get that perfect portrait? Well, let me just tell you folks...it takes more than one!! On any given shoot I will take literally hundreds of pictures. I thought I would show you all the evolution of a portrait.




Until finally you capture the first shot. At any rate, here are a few more of this beautiful family! LOVE THEM!





Now I know you are going to be tempted to think I somehow photoshopped their beautiful blue eyes. I assure you I did not do one thing to their eyes. They are the real deal folks!

Happy Thanksgiving

Did you happen to see the sky tonight? It was amazing! Loving the sunsets lately! However, when I saw it I was on my way home from the Thanksgiving day festivities. I snapped this first one quickly on my way to the car...trying not to get left! The next two were actually taken from inside the car. Hey...you can only do what you can do!

I am thankful for so many things, and one of them is the beauty that is all around me. Sometimes I drive home and I am awed by this beautiful world in which we live. I am filled with gratitude today.

The Last of Fall

Winter?

I am sad to see fall go. For some reason, this year, I am not looking forward to the snow. I wish Fall could stay just a bit longer. Today I was out enjoying the last little bit of Fall...playing in the leaves. Sigh. I will miss you Fall! Here is one from today.

Love These Guys!

One of my favorite families! Love these guys! I am so glad I got to spend time with them and take their pictures. We headed out to a dark and stormy lake...but all things considered I think we got some keepers! ;) Here is a sneak peek. Thanks guys!
