Here Comes the Sun!

The last few days you may have noticed something you have not seen in quite a while. Yes folks, that bright ball you have been seeing in the sky is, in fact, the sun. I know it has been quite some time since you have seen it and may have forgotten what it looked like...do not panic. It is back!

I could not be more pleased with the whole situation. After a long winter of cold and dark and inversions, I have been longing for warmth and sunshine. Even if it is not quite warm enough to break out the shorts and flip flops, I am content just to have some sunshine. I had to take some pictures just to prove the sun was out in all its brilliance this weekend! (Please take note that there is NO SNOW on the ground!)

The MIddle of Nowhere...

Yes folks, I live in the middle of nowhere...and I love it! It's true, there is no Target, Kohl's or even a Wal-mart in my town (I know...how do we function?) but I think that is okay.

While I was driving today I was longing to go sledding out here (see below). But then I remembered that it is below freezing outside! So instead, I opted to take a few quick pictures from the warmth of my vehicle. Yes, I did not even get out of the car to take these...I'm not sure what that means, except that I am still warm! Enjoy and have a happy and safe New Year's!!

Okay, so I just have to say I LOVE the outfits this family chose...LOVE! Don't they look outstanding! And how cute is this little boy? Darling! Really folks, do you feel they came right out of a magazine? I loved working with this family and I have hardly been able to wait to show you their session. :)

With Christmas over I am excited to share this session with you! When thses two darling little girls got off the elevator with their cute little dresses I almost melted. So cute!

Christmas on the Square

Last week I went to see the lights on Temple Square. This is an annual tradition for me, and somehow, it just makes it feel more like Christmas. It is so beautiful to me! If you are around these parts and get a chance, I recommend stopping by.
