Postcard

Okay folks, I feel like this picture should be on a postcard somewhere...or at least a greeting card! This couple was soooo much fun! Even though it was cold, they were troopers as we traipsed all over the country and dirt roads. Even when it started to sprinkle and threaten rain they were all smiles. I can't wait to show you more...and I can't wait for the wedding!

It's that Time of Year

It's that time again! Every year my town holds a celebration. It is a gathering, a coming home, a celebration of all that is good about our small town USA...and I love it! Every year they have a vintage car show in the morning. Even though it was blustery, I braved the wind and had a look.




The guys are so funny with their cars; always polishing them and making them sparkle!

Oh, Summer...

Okay...after yesterday/this morning's snow storm, I have been longing for warmer days. Seriously folks. My heart aches for warm summer nights! After the blizzard today I had to go back through some of my summer pictures. Just to remind myself of what it was like to see green, and flowers...and SUNSHINE! So, I thought I would send some summer vibes your way.


Remember this color? It's green. Contrary to popular belief, trees do turn this color...once in a while.



Oh! Don't even get me started on these! I heart these!



Oh man! I better stop now. I LOVE summer wheat! Sigh.

Well....They just had one of these! Isn't he the cutest little guy you have ever seen? He was such a content baby almost the entire time. I just wanted to snuggle this little guy. So. Cute!

Here Comes the Sun!

The last few days you may have noticed something you have not seen in quite a while. Yes folks, that bright ball you have been seeing in the sky is, in fact, the sun. I know it has been quite some time since you have seen it and may have forgotten what it looked like...do not panic. It is back!

I could not be more pleased with the whole situation. After a long winter of cold and dark and inversions, I have been longing for warmth and sunshine. Even if it is not quite warm enough to break out the shorts and flip flops, I am content just to have some sunshine. I had to take some pictures just to prove the sun was out in all its brilliance this weekend! (Please take note that there is NO SNOW on the ground!)

The MIddle of Nowhere...

Yes folks, I live in the middle of nowhere...and I love it! It's true, there is no Target, Kohl's or even a Wal-mart in my town (I know...how do we function?) but I think that is okay.

While I was driving today I was longing to go sledding out here (see below). But then I remembered that it is below freezing outside! So instead, I opted to take a few quick pictures from the warmth of my vehicle. Yes, I did not even get out of the car to take these...I'm not sure what that means, except that I am still warm! Enjoy and have a happy and safe New Year's!!
