For Me

Today I was a bit reflective. I went for a Sunday drive...for fun. I looked at the beauty around me. These pictures don't really accurately capture it or do it justice. I'm sure probably thinking, "Why does she think the weeds are beautiful??" Well, maybe you have to be there...However, they were just a few I took while on my drive.

Just because school is starting. :)

Okay. This was random. Do you see that? It is a MAILBOX! Do you see how far it is from the ground?!! I'm not really sure how the mail person gets the mail up there. At any rate, it made me laugh and I had to get a picture!

More weeds. But I liked them...

This was a random house. I thought it was fun. Kind of like a country cottage.

Oh my! I am so glad I was able to do this shoot for one of my friends with whom I grew up...yep...I've known her since pre-school! I cannot get enough of this little guy! How cute is he?? Don't you just want to snuggle him close! Welcome to the world baby C!

A Year of Pictures

Well it has been one year since I started this photography adventure. I can hardly believe it! In some ways it seems like it has been so long since I started taking pictures in a professional capacity...I have learned sooooo much! Yet in other ways it has just flown by! This has been so much fun and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you so much to all of you who have been part of the journey!

I thought I would post a flashback. Wow...it is fun looking back on some of the pictures and seeing how far I have come. Come along my flashback journey with me! Perhaps later I will post the last year in landscapes. For now, enjoy!

Summer Storms!

I love summer storms! Today as I was driving home from work in the rain, I was wishing I had my camera with me. As it was I didn't. When I got home I went back through some of the pictures I had taken during summer storms. Can't you just smell the rain?!! I love that smell! I thought I would share a few with you.
